Microgreen Smoothies

Our in-house chefs at 2BFresh spent several hours in the kitchen with the blender creating, testing and revising until they came up with the tastiest recipes for microgreen smoothies. After extensive user-testing on friends, family and staff at our own 2BFresh growing and packing facilities, we are proud to share with you our top 8 microgreen smoothies.



#1 - Green Microgreen Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

2 cups ice

2 green apples (peeled and cut) (we used Grannie Smith)

2 bananas

1 cucumber

2 oranges (peeled and cut)

1 cup celery microgreens

1 cup broccoli microgreens

handful green basil microgreens


INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth.


#2 - Red Microgreen Smoothie



INGREDIENTS

2 cups ice

2 bananas

1½ cups raspberries (frozen of fresh)

1 cup almond milk

1 cup kohlrabi microgreens

1 cup micro pea shoots

1 cup pac choi microgreens



INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth.


#3 - Beets & Red Microgreen Smoothie


INGREDIENTS

2 cups ice

1 cup water

1 beet

¼ any melon (peeled and cubed)

1 cucumber

1 cm ginger root (peeled)

1 cup kale microgreens

1 cup broccoli microgreens

1 cup beet bulls blood or red chard microgreens

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth.


#4 - Pink Microgreen Smoothie


INGREDIENTS

2 cups ice

1.5 cups strawberries

2 bananas

1 cup almond milk

¼ cup chia seeds

1 cup basil microgreens




INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth.


#5 - Pure & Refreshing Green Microgreen Smoothie


INGREDIENTS

2 cups ice

1 green apple (peeled and cubed)

½ green melon (peeled and cubed)

1 cucumber (washed but not peeled)

1 pear

1 kiwi (peeled)

1 lime (peeled)

1 cup celery microgreens

1 cup pac choi microgreens

1 cup basil microgreens


INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth.


#6 - Tropical Yellow Microgreen Smoothie


INGREDIENTS

2 cups ice

2 oranges (peeled and sectioned)

1 cup fresh orange juice

1 banana

1 mango

1 cup pineapple slices (fresh or frozen)

1 cup pac choi microgreens

1 cup thyme microgreens


INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth.




#7 - Orange Microgreen Smoothie


INGREDIENTS

2 cups ice

1 cup fresh orange juice

1 persimmon (peeled and cut)

1 carrot (washed but not peeled)

1 mango

2 tangerines

1 cm ginger root (peeled)

1 cup coriander microgreens

1 cup broccoli microgreens

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth.


#8 - Purple Microgreen Smoothie


INGREDIENTS

2 cups of ice

1 cup of blueberries (fresh or frozen)

1 banana

½ green melon (peeled and cubed)

1 cup kale microgreens

1 cup micro pea shoots


INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth.
